Darren Leslie - Business Development Director
Darren has over 20 years’ experience in the engineering industry. As an extremely experienced project manager, Darren boasts excellent organisational, communication, IT, literacy and numeracy skills.
A highly motivated leader and an experienced, enthusiastic manager of the business. With over 5 years’ experience at Director level and 16 plus years’ experience in the engineering industry, Darren has a proven track record in delivering business growth within th industrial sector, through working with companies such as: NI Water, Spirit AeroSystems, AVX and SDC Trailers, to name a few.
Darren is responsible for: sourcing new business opportunities and key client relations, overseeing large scale industrial projects from the outset – including full design through to final commissioning stages and managing budgets whilst ensuring individual department performance.
Iain Parkhill - Operations Director
Iain, the Operations Director at PAC Group, began his career as an apprentice in the electrical field. Through his career he transitioned into instrumentation and process control, where he gained extensive expertise.
His journey in this specialised domain has made him exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable for his role in PAC.
Iain has built a strong reputation for his unwavering work ethic, coupled with his positive can-do attitude and rapid learning abilities. Focusing on operations within all areas of the business and driving efficiencies, these qualities attribute to helping build and grow PAC Group into one of NI’s leading engineering companies.
Gavin Rankin - Technical Director
Gavin plays a pivotal role within PAC Group. With over 5 years’ experience at director level, Gavin plays a vital role in overseeing daily operations and providing crucial technical guidance for key projects. His insights have proven instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of initiatives and delivering top-tier solutions to clients.
Gavin boasts an extensive background in instrumentation and PLC/SCADA control systems, with a rich history of contributing to large-scale, customised automation projects for blue-chip companies such as Coca-Cola, Bombardier, and Spirit AeroSystems.
His career in the automation industry has been defined by hands-on experience and a track record of successfully delivering innovative solutions for globally recognised organisations. Gavin takes pride in his role as a leader in redefining automation standards.
Gavin is able provide not only technical expertise but also valuable contributions to the day-to-day operations and management of PAC Group.
Gordon Burns - Service Director
With over 35 years of industry experience, Gordon has applied this to building a team of calibration, support and instrumentation engineers that service and support numerous customers including many blue-chip companies.
During the PAC journey he has seamlessly incorporated the new division of: PAC Gas Calibration and service into the department. Within PAC Group, Gordon also oversees all external auditing; keeping their ISO compliance in place.
He also takes a keen interest in the welfare of the PAC employees, liaising regularly with their employee lead committee.
