HOW FREQUENTLY SHOULD PAT TESTING BE CARRIED OUT?

The frequency of portable appliance testing depends on the type of equipment and the environment it is used in. Routine testing frequencies can be anywhere from 3 months to 3 years. For example, a power tool used on a construction site should be examined more frequently than a lamp in a hotel bedroom.
